A Blog (short for “weB log”) can be a great resource not only for your employees but customers and partners. Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular topic and typically combine text, images and links. A company blog can also serve as an interactive tool used to create an important dialogue with your employees, customers and business partners.

Podcasts

Podcasts are digital media files distributed over the internet that can be played on either a portable device or personal computer. Podcasts are distributed on a website or using syndicated feeds to automatically update subscribers digital libraries or MP3 players. An iPod is one example of a device that downloads and replays podcasts but virtually any computer can play a podcast directly from a website.

Some podcasts play video but most are audio recordings that provide the listener an experience similar to a radio program. Podcasts are a great way to distribute new information or content automatically and in a manner that engages audience in a way written material can’t.
